He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis Brinson and Bessie Brinson; and his grandson Michael Wayne Brinson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brinson; and his sons, Graham Brinson (Betty), Dennis Brinson (Cindy) and Roy Brinson, Jr. (Kari).
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Reelsboro Methodist Church, 51 Holland Dr., New Bern, NC 28560.
