She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Ireland; her husband George Jones; her son Al Whealton; and her stepsons, Guy and Donnie Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Dail Keith Wilkinson, Jr. and Elizabeth Wilkinson Bynum; her stepson Dean Jones (Kay); her brother Woody Ireland (Glenda); her grandchildren, Caylee Bynum, Bryce Bynum, Allen Nobles, Jaron Whealton, Japeth Whealton, Gabrielle Whealton and Skylar Jones; and her great grandchildren, Brylea Grace Hardison, Royce and Kenley Whealton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Pamlico Rescue, PO Box 302, Bayboro, NC 28515.
