She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Tyndall and Rosabell Byrd Tyndall; her husband Charles Speight; and her siblings, Louise of Florida, Lois of Jacksonville, NC, Linwood, Albert of Jacksonville, NC, Leslie of Jacksonville, NC, Lushion of Kinston and Leon of Kinston.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Speight of Grantsboro and Teresa Harris (Gregory) of Grantsboro; her grandchildren, Rebekah Leaming (Jason) of Aurora, NC and Travis Harris (Haley) of Grantsboro; her great grandchild Mackenzie Leaming of Aurora; her siblings, Lillian "Cat" Zimmerman of Dover, Louann Spain of Newport, NC and Louie Tyndall of Scottsdale, AZ; and her sister-in-law Irene Ward of Cove City.
