He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Broughton and Rose Simmons Broughton Gause; his brother Ravon Broughton; and his brother-in-law Robert Woodard. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his daughters, Allison Broughton Collins (Matthew) and Meagan Broughton (Ed); and his stepdaughters, Jennifer Hunt (Mike) and Celeste Hall.
