She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Minna; her husband Jim Zaffer; her children, Richard Zaffer (Randi) and Darlene Zaffer Law (Fran); and her grandchildren, Andrew Law (Jessica), Ryan Zaffer, Sarah Law, Rachel Tipton (Matt) and Jon Zaffer (Jenny). She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
