It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Thomas Sawyer Jr. (Grantsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sawyer and Goldie Sawyer; his brothers, Randolph Mitchell, Johnnie Mitchell and William M. Sawyer; and his son Bobby Lee Harris, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sawyer; his daughter Judy Bowen (Eddie); and his siblings, Jackie Sawyer, Dewitt Sawyer (Annabell), Goldie Wells and Patricia Dail. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
