He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Davis and Lila Belle Hunter Davis. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Douglas W. Davis (Karen) of Goldsboro, Debra Lee Kallum (Dennis) of Maysville and Karen Jean Gardner (Jesse, Jr.) of Grantsboro; his grandchildren, Trista, Sarah (Craig), Alexander, Zachary, Kyle, Allyson (Cody) and Jesse III (Camry Cauley); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Emma, Lila Belle, Landon, Natalie and Lilianna; his great great grandchild Raelynn; and his siblings, Daphne Jones of New Bern and Harry Davis (Ann) of Cape Carteret. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
