She is survived by: her mother Janice Nobles Smith (Robert); her children, Hector Montoya, Jr., Jocelyn Salazar, Ava Escamilla and Carmen Molina; and her siblings, Eric Hardison (Lynn), Christopher Golden (Carrie) and Heather Smith (Jason). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
