With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Eugene Cahoon (Grantsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on April 9, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Cahoon and Irene Sigmon; and his stepparents, Walter Sigmon and Adele Cahoon. He is survived by: his wife Christine Edwards Cahoon; his sister Clara Barkley (Richard) of Florida; his children, Belinda Ottinger (Don) of Goldsboro, Dorinda Sugiyama (Tom) of New Bern and Alfred Cahoon, Jr. (Tanya) of Kinston; and his grandchildren, Eugene Bennett (Bud) of New Bern, Major Brandon Bennett of Florida, Matthew Ottinger of Louisiana, John Ottinger of Texas, Kristen Keeter of Morehead City, Aaron Ottinger of Goldsboro, Ethan Cahoon of Kinston and Anya Cahoon of Kinston.
