With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Walton of Granite Quarry, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Lloyd Sipes and Exie Fox Sipes; her husband Frank Walton, Jr. of Granite Quarry; her son Michael Walton of Granite Quarry; her stepchildren, Frank "Trey" Walton III of Chicago and Elizabeth Walton of New York; and her siblings, Charles Sipes of Salisbury, Larry Sipes of Linwood, Jessie Sipes Beckham of Statesville, Helen Sipes Hensley of Lexington, Pauline Sipes Wood of Cooleemee, Julie Sipes Fox of Winston Salem and Linda Sipes Misenheimer of Myrtle Beach. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece.
