Philip Holshouser Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Holshouser (Granite Quarry, North Carolina), who passed away on July 28, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Calvin and Laura Eleanor Brown Holshouser; his wife Mary Frances Beaver Holshouser; his children, Steve Holshouser of Concord, Sherri Wolfe (Flynn Wolfe) of Charlotte and Shelly Hefner (Daniel Hefner) of Concord; his grandchildren, Candace Woodward (Jeff), Cynthia Holshouser, Stephanie Turner, Samantha Muqtasid (Jordan), Jeffrey Wolfe, Houston Hefner (Maddy), Cayce Atkinson (Tyler) and Darynne Rhinehardt (Collin); his great grandchildren, James, Ben, Hope, Samantha, Annabelle, Henry, Colton, Sawyer, Shay and Jason; and his siblings, John David Holshouser (June), Ruth Beaver, Richard Holshouser (Rachel), Alice Linker, Grace Beaver and Carl Holshouser. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Derita Presbyterian Church.
