She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Rayfield and Selma Thompson Rayfield; her husband Ralph Neil Horne; and her son Brian Keith Horne. She is survived by: her sons, Joey Horne (Leslie Smith) of Cleveland, Eric Horne (Sandra Oldham) of Granite Quarry and Christopher C. Horne of Rockwell; her grandchildren, Lauren, Emily and Tyler Horne of Salisbury; and her siblings, Alfred Rayfield (Betty) of Gastonia, NC and Judy Gates (Edward) of Lowell, NC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Tourette Association of America or the American Stroke Association both were very important to Joyce.
