He is survived by: his siblings, Maranda Kay Hallyburton (Charles) of Morganton, N. C. and Morris O'Neal Bumgarner (Linda) of Weaverville, N. C.; his niece Carla Setzer of Granite Falls; and his cousin Sammie Lou Bumgarner Dewey of Granite Falls.
