It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Weyburn Lewis Reid Bailey of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Robert Reid and Lyndon Clyde Mitchell; her husband Guy Vernie Bailey; and her sister Evelyn Barker Williams. She is survived by: her children, Kay Bailey-Day of Hickory and Barry Bailey (Elisa) of Granite Falls; her granddaughters, Lydia Hensley (Ted Hensley), Jennifer Watts (Patrick Watts) and Mackenzie Bailey Barrett (Chris Barrett); and her great grandchild Kaylee Macijewski.
