He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Taylor Boyles and J. E. Boyles; and his sister Sharon Terrell. He is survived by: his wife Sue Morton Boyles; his children, Jennifer Jordan (Jeremy) of Hildebran and Steve Boyles (Traci) of Sawmills; his stepdaughter Debbie Hill of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Ava Childers, Jace Childers, Jachin Jordan, Austin, Avery Boyles and Dwayne Self; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler Self, Koa Boyles and Kenzlee Boyles.
