It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Stephen Winkler of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde James and Vella Lee Cline Winkler; his wife Karin Greer Winkler; and his granddaughter Alexis Winkler. He is survived by: his children, Jesse Winkler (Holly) of Granite Falls and Kim Morefield (Charlie) of Tennessee; his brother Larry Winkler (Dot) of Longview; and his grandchildren, Trevor Winkler and Emily Morefield.
