He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Mitchell of Gastonia, Carrie Klapatosk of Morganton and Misty Carpenter (James) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Kayla Holland, Stephen Holland, Bethany Martinez, Nicholas Chester, Gerald Basnett and Karliana Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Laura Holland and Jensen Basnett.
