Verna Lefevers Brookshire Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Lefevers Brookshire (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Starnes and Beulah Miller Starnes; her former husband Paul Lefevers; her husband Frank Brookshire; her daughters, Nancy Bumgarner and Helen Reece; her great grandchild Emily Childers; and her siblings, Pauline Ferguson, Leona Anderson, Hugh Starnes and Arvil Starnes.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Childers (Jerry) of Granite Falls; her siblings, Sue Starnes, Boyce Starnes and Floyd Starnes; and also Beulah Moorefield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren.
