She was predeceased by: her parents, Vonnie Greene and Essie Hendrix Greene; her husband Johnny Lee Mikeal; her grandson Johnny Crotts; her great grandchild Makayla Mikeal; and her siblings, Cecil Greene, Wally Greene, Dale Greene and Millie Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, David Mikeal (Teresa) of Denver, Margaret Britt of Granite Falls, Rita Jones (Donnie) of Hudson and Karen Dale (Eddie) of Morganton; her siblings, Harold Greene (Glenda) of Hickory, Earl Greene (Suzan) of Long Beach, CA, Carl Greene of Connelly Springs, Johnny Greene (Essie) of Morganton, Irene Hames of Hickory, Lucille Spann of Icard, Marie Smith (Vertus) of Connelly Springs and Mary Cantrell (Harold) of Rutherford College; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Wilson, Jennie "Mitzi" Greene and Sherry Greene; and her grandchildren, Angie Greene, Chastity Harris, Blake Dale and Kristin Mikeal. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
