With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Douglas Willis (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Willis and Junie Lingerfelt Shuford; his brother Sonny Willis; and his brothers-in-law, Perry Shuford, Harvey Berry and Allen Church.

He is survived by: his friend Ron Skinner; his pets, Prissy, Dixie, Bubba, Sam and Soloman; his wife Deborah Shook Willis; his children, Amanda Bilton (Ernest), Alaina Willis (Vincent LaFrance) and Joshua Jordan; his sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Shuford, Brenda Berry and Frances Church; his sister-in-law Kathy Willis; his brother Roger Shuford (Lucy); his grandchildren, Caroline Bilton (Elijah Hess), Trinity Powell, Maddison Powell, Lexi Jordan, Nicholas Frazier, Luke Evans and Liam Cuddington; and his pets, Carly, Zoey and Daisy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
