He is survived by: his wife Madge Terry Hooks; his children, Cindy Phillips (David) of Connelly Springs, Richard Byrd (Paula Pennell), Dennis Byrd (Summer Evans), Stephanie Hooks (David Craig) and Tony Hooks (Nikki) of Connelly Springs; and his sister Gale Hooks of Spurger, TX. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
