He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley A. Edwards and Iva Carpenter Edwards; his wife Bernice Herman Edwards; and his siblings, Edna Stillwell, Arthur Edwards and Jack Edwards.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Bryan Edwards (Regina) of Granite Falls and Stanley "Layne" Edwards (Sheila) of Granite Falls; and his sister Judy Tucker (Leo) of Granite Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
