It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Benge (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stanley Benge to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Benge and Edith McLain Benge; and his siblings, Shirley Best, Debbie Murphy, Wayne Benge and Bill Benge.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Cogdell Benge; his daughters, Loretta Wagner (Scott) of Hickory and Candy Rae Gouge (Gary) of Sawmills; his grandchildren, Todd Chester (Nami) of Japan, Kandice Cole of Lenoir, Jessica Gouge of Gastonia and Nicole Gouge of Hildebran; and his siblings, Jean Yount, Wanda Pennell (Junior), Barbara Gibson, Mike Benge (Donna), Doug Benge (Wanda) and Andy "Bo" Turner Benge (Sandy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
