She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Avery Starnes and Weyburn Johnson Starnes; her grandparents, Plez, Louise Starnes, Don and Effie Johnson; and her uncle Wade Johnson.

She is survived by: her cousins, Rita Huffman and Marla Patton; and her sisters, Brenda Miller and Danette Alexander. She is also survived by friends and new friends.
