It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Elizabeth McDowell of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gene Ingle and Elizabeth "Lib" Ingle; her husband Richard McDowell; her son Todd McDowell of New Orleans; and her brother Kenneth Ingle of Granite Falls.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund at 1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson NC 28638 and Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St. Lenoir NC 28645.
