She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Hazel Ward Smith; and her husband Loyd Stewart Fox, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Walter Stewart Fox and Loyd Stewart Fox, Jr. (Rebecca); her granddaughter Riva Fox; and her siblings, Dorothy, Mary Ann, Vickie and Larry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
