She was predeceased by: her parents, Nowell Anderson Thrasher and Mary Ruth Ransom Thrasher; her husband Farrell Smith; and her brother William Thrasher. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Smith, Dawn Smith and Mia Smith; her stepchild JoElla Johnson; her brother Jimmy Thrasher of Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Everette Smith, Lula and Paige.
