He was predeceased by: his parent Willard G.; his siblings, Willard "Sonny" Ritchie and Faye Abernathy; his son Steven Ritchie; and his former wife Louise Lail Ritchie Capps.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Lou Dale Ritchie; his children, Debbie Lunsford of Rhodhiss, Sharon Lunsford (David) of Hickory, Bobby Ritchie of Hickory, Chuck Ritchie (Renita) of Connelly Springs, Marty Capps (Lisa Ryder) of Granite Falls, Brian Capps of Granite Falls and Shannon Capps of Utah; and his sister Doris Lotsey of Hickory.
