He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gene and Thelma Grizzle Sheets; and his stepsister Sandy Sprinkle. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Beaver Sheets; his son Stephen Sheets of Granite Falls; his stepdaughters, Rachel Bumgarner (TJ Williams) of Granite Falls and Cheyennee Sparks of Granite Falls; his daughter Chloe Franklin of Hildebran; his brother Dean Sheets (Darla) of Indiana; and his stepsiblings, Chris Brittain of Hickory and Carla Brittain of Hickory. He is also survived by one grandson on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
