He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Evans Sr. and Daisy White Evans. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Wood Evans; his children, Dr. Rob Evans (Linda), Mark Evans (Kim) and Ashleigh Evans Johnson (Adam); his sisters, Virginia Evans Johnston (Dan) and Ethel White Pugh; his grandchildren, Kortnie, Baker, Justin, Josh, Nate, Andy and Erin-Hope; his great grandchild Robbie; and his friend Dr. Ronnie Owen (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Granite Falls (12 Crestview St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
