He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bert Bobbitt and Sarah Marie Leonard Bobbitt; his wife Shellie Renee Johnson Bobbitt; and his brother Eddie Bert Bobbitt. He is survived by: his children, Ritchie Souther (Jennifer) of Granite Falls and Tabitha Bumgarner (Anthony) of Granite Falls; his grandson Devan Souther; and his sister Shirley Mashburn (Freddie Pearce) of Texas. He is also survived by two granddaughters, and seven grandsons.
