He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Fox Curtis and Rev. Robert Ralph Curtis of Lenoir, NC.. He is survived by: his brother Johnny Curtis of Granite Falls, NC.; his wife Teresa Pennell Curtis; his son Robert Curtis (Joy); and his stepson Jason McMichael.
