He was predeceased by: his father Onley Nix; and his brother Allen Nix. He is survived by: his son Tyler Nix of Granite Falls; his stepchildren, Elisa Wysong, Jared Hasmuk and Monique Hasmuk (Nadine Hasmuk); and his siblings, Becky Evans (John), Ron Nix (Akemi), Tim Moffatt and Terry McLain. He is also survived by numerous other friends, family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
