It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Dale Simmons Bentley of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Simmons; her stepfather Charles Ralph Triplett; her brother Freddie Simmons; and her brother-in-law Bobby Martin. She is survived by: her husband James Thomas "Tommy" Bentley Jr.; her children, Tina Renee Brittain Tabor (Bill) of Arkansas, Ashley Nicole Bentley Vines (Lee) of Granite Falls and Christopher Thomas Bentley (Tammy) of Granite Falls; her siblings, Danny Simmons (Nancy) of Granite Falls, Gary Triplett (Judy) of Granite Falls, Jones Triplett (Bernadette) of Granite Falls and Lynn Martin of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Bethany Tabor, Zachery Tabor, Eian Vines, Haley Nicole Vines, Aden Vines, Jason Bentley, Chris Dewey and Tony Dewey; and her great grandchildren, Autmn and Conner.
