It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Helton Jr. (Granite Falls, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Clyde Helton, Sr. and Bertha Sigmon Helton. He is survived by: his children, Lyndon Ray Helton (Heather) of Granite Falls, Angie Helton Sronce (Chris) of Hickory, Kevin D. Helton of Hickory, Jamie Helton Ottinger of Mooresville and Amy Thomas (Greg) of Conover; his grandchildren, Faith Sronce, Brenton Harris, John Helton, Abbey Sronce, Elisabeth Thomas, Rebekah Thomas, Graice Ottinger and Matthew Helton; and also Willadean Clevenger Helton.
