She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd Woodrow Fox and Mary Pennell Fox; her husband Waver B. Burns; and her brother Bill Fox. She is survived by: her son Cloyd Wayne Burns of Granite Falls; her stepson Stanley Burns of Granite Falls; her grandsons, Landon Trevor Burns (Alisha Shinkle) of Lakeland, FL and Nicholas Brison Huffman of Hudson; and her siblings, James Fox (Barbara) of Granite Falls, Greg Fox (Patricia) of Lenoir and Denise Lackey (Clyde Wayne Lackey) of Lenoir.
