Nina Mae Hill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina Mae Hill of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Pinkney Starnes and Beulah Poovey Starnes; her husband Earl O. Hill; her siblings, Clyde P. Starnes, Fred J. Starnes, Sam P. Starnes, Ralph L. Starnes and Mary S. Bolick; and her siblings-in-law, Carl H. Bolick, Charlie Richie, Avis Starnes, Ruth B. Starnes, Omega Starnes and Margaret Starnes.
She is survived by: her son Alan W. Hill of Granite Falls; and her sister Rachel S. Ritchie of Granite Falls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Poovey's Grove Baptist Church at 4889 Poovey's Grove Church Road, Granite Falls, NC., 28630.
