He was predeceased by: his nephew Shane David Towne; and his parents, James Phillips and Judy Phillips. He is survived by: his siblings, Eric Phillips (Jannie Phillips) of Hickory, Cheri Towne of Granite Falls, Shawn Phillips of Granite Falls and Kyle Phillips of Tennessee.
