He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Joan Ogle Sherrill; his sons, Mark Sherrill (Regina) of Granite Falls and Myron Sherrill of Valdese; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Sherrill of New York and Leah Sherrill of Wilmington.
