He was predeceased by: his brother Jonathan Powell; and his grandparents, Mabel Powell, Ed Powell and Bill Keenan. He is survived by: his sisters, Katie Leigh Chambers of Granite Falls and Angela Reid of Lenoir; his niece Adelynn Chambers; his nephews, Josh, Michael and Joseph Mann; and his grandmother Nancy Keenan of Lenoir. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
