It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Poindexter (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chafin and Mary McLendon Chafin; her husband Clyde "Ray" Poindexter; her daughter Tammy Miles; and her brother Maynard Chafin.
She is survived by: her sons, John Ray Poindexter (Patricia) of Granite Falls and Jim Edward Poindexter (Charlsey) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Amanda Miles, Alexis Poindexter of Hildebran, Timothy Miles, Christian Poindexter of Hildebran and Matthew Hubbard; and her sister Martha Williamson.
