She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mace and Ethel Craig Mace; and her husband Jimmy Mellon. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Dingus (J. M.) of Granite Falls, Tracy Scronce (Scottie Huffman) of Hildebran, Tammy Bentley (Angelo) and Jimmy Mellon; her daughters-in-law, Michelle Storie of Rhodhiss and Tina Keller of Hudson; and her brother Don Hoyle of Morganton. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
