It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Magdeline Settlemyre Darty (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ambrose Charlie Darty; and her siblings, Fred, Clarence, Jay "J. T.", Ralph Settlemyre and Gladys S. Caldwell.
She is survived by: her brother Garner Settlemyre (Betty) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
