We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2019, at the age of 93, Mary Magadlene Bryant Brown (Granite Falls, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Lelia Cannon Bryant; her husband Garland Louis Brown; her children, Shelia Miller and Rodney Brown; and her siblings, Junior Bryant, John Bryant, Bill Bryant, Donald McGinnis and Dorothy Gentry.
She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Looper of Lenoir; her siblings, Sue Keever of Lenoir, Margie Connell of South Port and Glenn McGinnis of Hickory; her children-in-law, Frances Brown of Hickory and Robert Miller of Taylorsville; and her grandchildren, Pam Walker (Paul), Richard Yearwood, Scott Shook (Becky), Shane Brown (Betsy), Charlie Kale (Pamela) and Jud Kale (Renee). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, one great -great-grandchild, a dear friend who she considered a daughter.
