She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallace and Virgie Bolick Smith; her husband Fritz Newland Williams; her daughter Elveta Rice; and her siblings, Claude Smith, Maggie Pearson, Olla Collins and Lucy Crouch.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Williams (Pam) of Taylorsville, Stanley Williams (Shelia) of Granite Falls and Juanita Warlick of Valdese; and her sister Bernice Wike of Granite Falls. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
