She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Davis and Emma Curtis Davis; her husband Melvin Eugene Mundy, Sr.; and her siblings, Buck Davis and Janette Davis Bumgarner.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Mundy of Hickory and Denise M. Sigmon of Hickory; her sisters, Imogene "Babe" Turnmire of Granite Falls and Susie Elmore of Brevard, NC; her grandchildren, Tyler Sigmon (Allison) of Charlotte and Katie Sigmon of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Mac and Grace Sigmon.
