He was predeceased by: his father Glenn W. Looper; and his grandson Brandon Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gail Looper; his children, LaDana Bolick (Russell), Timothy Looper and Mark Looper; his grandchildren, Heather Robbins (Adam), Madison Price (Cameron) and Karsyn Looper; his great grandchildren, Clayton, Chole Robbins and Lylah Moore; and his grandchild Parker Lane.
