She is survived by: her spouse Charles "Coot" Hood; her daughter Angela Curtis; her siblings, Pat Hamrick of Shelby, Sandy McCall and Chuck McDade; her grandchild Dayton Sigmon; her fiancée Kristin Fox of Granite Falls; and her friend Buffy Baker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
