It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Peek of Granite Falls, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peek and Honor Cabe Peek; his wife Martha Mozelle Peek; and his siblings, Evelyn Layell, Frances Mashburn and Doyle Peek.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Peek of Lenoir and Ladatha Pennell (Joel) of Lenoir; his siblings, Isaac Peek (Judy) of Canton, Ohio, Ruth McClure of Franklin, NC and Mary Ann Greenway (Fred) of Hartwell, GA; and his grandchildren, TJ Pennell, Lauren Peek, Chelsea Peek and Alex Pennell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
