It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Church (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on September 3, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Schuyler Minton; her husband Arley James Church; her son Billy Jean Church; her siblings, Elisha Minton, Troy Minton, Doughton Minton, Veona Price and Annie Raynor; her granddaughter Christy Tredway; and her son-in-law Paul David Smith.
She is survived by: her parent Dona Cleary Minton; her children, James Sydney Church (Carri) of Sherrills Ford, Dennis Ray Church (Marsha) of Conover and Linda Kay Smith (Katie) of Conover; and her sisters, Margie Church of Sawmills, Lucille Huffman of Granite Falls and Mary Ann O'Brien of Valdese.
